It is only grinded one time compared to the premium hardwood mulch which is grinded twice.  Customers choose this mulch product to cover garden paths, banks, flower beds etc. Some of our customers who live in wooded areas will use this mulch.

This product is Playground "Certified". Local schools and state parks use our product in their playground areas. Our customers use this item for their children's play set areas at home. This product is a light oak color and will turn grayish brown in time.  This material consist of virgin North American hardwood and contains less than .5% bark, leaves, twigs, plastic, metals and other foreign objects that hasten decomposition.  This material is free of any chemical treatment or additives.
